Users, roles and signing in

Who can see what, how logins work, and what to do if you are locked out.

Every login has a role, and the role decides what that person can see and change.

Qualifying bot roles

  • Agent: sees only their own calls, transcripts and recordings, and works the callback queue. Needs to be linked to a dialer seat, or there is nothing to show.
  • Manager: sees every call, the dashboard and reports for the whole workspace, can download recordings, add do-not-call numbers and manage their agents' logins. Cannot edit flows or remove do-not-call numbers.
  • Admin: runs the workspace, including flows, dialer connections, settings, removing do-not-call numbers and ending a live call.

Qualifying bot workspaces are set up by us, together with your first admin, who then adds everyone else. You sign in with your email and password. If the same email belongs to more than one workspace you will be asked for a 6-digit Workspace ID, and you can switch between workspaces without signing out.

Voice agent and chatbot accounts

Sign in at bot.techstate.ai with your username and password. Assistants, chatbots and call logs belong to the account that created them. An admin can add and remove users and reset their passwords.

Forgotten password

There is no self-service reset. Ask your workspace admin, who can reset it for you, or contact us if you are the admin.

Note
Sessions last seven days, after which you are asked to sign in again.
