How are outcomes and dispositions decided?
Every outcome comes from a branch a person wired. Nothing is guessed.
A call can end in transfer, do-not-call, did-not-qualify, callback or hang-up, and each one only happens because the person who built the flow wired that answer to it. "No" never means do-not-call unless you said it should.
Do-not-call and did-not-qualify are different
- Do-not-call means the caller asked not to be contacted again. The number goes on your do-not-call list and, if write-back is on, onto your dialer's list as well.
- Did-not-qualify is recorded only. The number is not suppressed.
Outcomes the system records itself
Caller hung up, answering machine, unclear (the bot ran out of attempts), and did-not-attend, where the dialer sent a call but the bot never ran.
Which status is written to your dialer
- 1For a voicemail, the answering-machine status.
- 2Otherwise, the status set on the branch that ended the call.
- 3Otherwise, your campaign's outcome mapping, which can split hang-ups by how far the caller got.
- 4If none of those apply, nothing is written.
Statuses are free text, so they can match your dialer's own codes exactly. Write-back is off until your dialer API details are filled in, and it is best-effort: if your dialer is down, a status may be missed but the call itself is not affected.
