Training the chatbot
Add files, web pages or written FAQs. Each source shows when it is ready.
A chatbot answers from its knowledge sources. You can add three kinds:
- Files: PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, plain text and Markdown.
- Web pages: paste the address of a page and its text is read in. Each address is one page, so add every page you want it to know about.
- FAQs: write questions and answers straight into the builder.
Sources are processed in the background and show as processing, ready or failed. A failed source shows why, for example when a page had no readable text.
Updating a source
Delete the old version and add the new one. Deleting a source removes everything the bot learned from it. Uploading an identical file twice is ignored.
Tip
Pages built mostly from scripts or images may have little readable text. If a page fails, save its content as a document and upload that instead.
